If certain rooms in your home never seem to get comfortable - one too hot, another too cold - the problem is usually hiding somewhere you never look. The attic. Bad ductwork up there is one of the most common and most overlooked causes of uneven airflow, and it's something most homeowners don't discover until things get really bad.

Here's what we were working with on this job. Flexible ducts that had been poorly installed, with connections that weren't properly sealed or supported. Over time, that kind of setup causes air to escape before it ever reaches the rooms it's supposed to condition. Your HVAC system runs harder, your energy bills creep up, and you're still not comfortable. It's a losing situation.

We went in and repaired the ductwork to get things back on track. This is the first part of the job, and even at this stage you can see the scope of what was going on up there. Multiple runs, tight attic framing, and duct connections that needed to be addressed the right way - not just patched over.

Ductwork repair isn't glamorous work. It means squeezing into tight attic spaces and doing the job properly so the fix actually holds. That's exactly the kind of work we do. When airflow is weak or inconsistent throughout a home, we track it back to the source and correct it - whether that's a repair or a full ductwork installation.

Most people are surprised to learn their HVAC system was never the issue. The ducts were. If your home has rooms that just never feel right no matter what you set the thermostat to, that's a sign worth paying attention to.
