Underground refrigerant leaks are tricky. You might not even know you have one until your system starts struggling to keep up - running longer, cooling less, and quietly driving up your energy bill. By the time most homeowners catch it, the refrigerant has been leaking for a while.

When a line set develops a leak underground, patching it isn't always the right call. Sometimes the smartest fix is pulling a brand new line set entirely. It's more work upfront, but it puts the problem behind you for good instead of leaving you wondering when it's going to act up again.

That's exactly what we did here. We ran a new line set and protected it with a clean aluminum channel mounted right along the exterior wall. That channel isn't just for looks - it keeps the lines secure, protects them from physical damage, and makes future access straightforward if anything ever needs attention down the road.

The condenser unit is back in business, and the system can finally do its job without fighting a slow refrigerant bleed. Clean work, done right, with no shortcuts.
